Team Rockstar Bud Racing Kawasaki ready for 2013

Since its first appearance in the paddock in 2007, team Bud Racing has been one of the most consistent structures in the French and World Motocross Championships. Claiming four titles this season, the team is pleased to confirm that they will have a consistent program next season, with a strong support from Kawasaki and Rockstar Energy Drink.

Starting their adventure in the European Championship in 2007, the team created by the Dassé brothers joined the World Championship one year later and never stopped his progress. Winning its first Grand’s Prix in 2009 with Gautier Paulin, and coming back on the highest step of the rostrum this summer with Livia Lancelot in the Women’s class (winner of the French, British and German GP’s), the team also returned on the MX2 podium with Dylan Ferrandis (third in Sweden) and scored many ‘top five’ with Dylan and Valentin Teillet. With three French titles (Livia in the Women class, Valentin in the Elite MX2 and David Herbreteau in the 85 class) and one European Supercross crown (Valentin in the SX2 class) team Rockstar Bud Racing Kawasaki did a very strong 2012 campaign and is optimistic for the future with three young and talented riders.

For the fourth year in a row Kawasaki Europe and Rockstar have both confirmed their support to Bud Racing, who is already preparing next season in the best conditions as they will line-up the same riders: Dylan Ferrandis and Valentin Teillet. Entering the MX2 French and World Championships the team will have a strong program, including eighteen GP’s with four of them oversea (Qatar, Thailand, Brazil and Mexico) and six round in the French Elite. With two young riders who already showed a great potential but had to face some injuries, team Rockstar Bud Racing Kawasaki can expect some strong results in the MX2 class as well as in the Women class. Livia Lancelot will enter her third season with the team, and plan to race selected GP’s, the French Women series, the X Games and some beach races.

Stephane Dassé: « Next season will be a very important one for us as for the other teams, with so many races including some long and expensive trips to discover new countries. Thanks to Kawasaki, Rockstar Energy Drink and our partners, we will be able to enter again the MX2 World series where our goal will be to get some strong results as both Dylan and Valentin have the potential to score top five results regularly. We know each other’s very well with our experience of this season, and that will help us to prepare the future in the best conditions. The season will kick off very early, and the program will be tough with the World and French series for Valentin and Dylan. Livia will race selected events as she did this year, and will add some beach races such as Hossegor and Le Touquet who are two popular events with a strong media coverage.”
